Paul Rybarczyk was born in Buffalo, NY. He received a BFA degree in figure drawing and a BA in art history from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
He spent 25 years in the advertising business as an designer and writer. About 30 years ago he made a career change to become a licnsed massage therapist.
Although he did not create much artwork for many years, he put a painting in the Burchfield Penney’s first members’ show in 2007 and received a commission from that. That rekindled his desire to paint and he had a studio added to his house in 2008 and has been painting non-stop since then.
He is a member of the Buffalo Society of Artists and the Fine Arts League of Buffalo.
In addition to showing his work in Buffalo, he has had shows in Cape Cod, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. His artwork is in collections across the US and Canada, and also in Europe. His work is in the collection of the Albright College of Art in Reading, Pennsylvania.
