Inspired by biblical narratives, Bruce Philip Bitmead explores his relationship with Christianity to gain a deeper connection to his faith. At a young age, Bruce felt an innate bond to religion which led him to join a Christian community for part of his adulthood. As his beliefs evolved, he eventually receded from his community in search for an artistic connection to God. Incarnations is a testament to Bruce’s emotional journey with faith and his hope of being able to spread “the word of God” through his art.
