This show, titled, “Just a Little Tatste” represents the uncertainty that we face on a near daily basis as we navigate life, relationships, parenting, our careers and who or what we want to be and achieve. There is a constant pull and struggle between what we actually want and need and what we think we want and need. The paintings focus on the backdrop of ourselves and what pushes threw to the surface when we are in a “fight or flight” mode. As such, the viewer will observe that the “back painting” pushes through in these brightly color works, illuminating the struggle within the confines of the self.
