My purpose is to get to know myself, understand myself, and the tools I use to explore that are art and music.

Mimicking her hand as a violinist, Erin Long plays with color, light and form to compose works that celebrate her love affair with art and music. Erin intentionally limits her senses, as musicians often do by closing their eyes, to freely connect with feelings both intrinsic and intuitive. As the maestro to her composition, Erin creates to feel more honest about her process and personhood, telling us more about herself within a symphony of lines and layers.
