“My Name is Nick Bonvissuto, I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I attend Penn West Edinboro University, majoring in art education and BFA in Painting. I’ve been painting for the majority of my life and have dabbled in multiple media, at the moment I’m really liking ceramics! I am a junior and have one more year left, I’ll be graduating spring of 2025. Across Buffalo, I have painted a couple murals and participated in the Hertel alley mural festival.
I would love to get my masters and teach art at the college level and/ or be an artist, have a studio and could teach classes out of there. After being in school, I have realized I really enjoy working with community arts. I draw inspiration for my art from family and my home. I enjoy making art about Buffalo, about me and my sisters (I’m a triplet, me and my sisters are very close), and about my life and the experiences that I have.”
